DODA (KNO) : In continuation of series of sports activities as an Endeavour to channelize the talent of youth in sports activities and strengthen the Police Public relationship. Doda Police organized Sport tournament at Govt. High School Bhaggar (Assar) under Civic Action Programme.
The Sports event i.e, Kabaddi and Volleyball were organized by Mansoor Ayaz Dy.SP DAR Doda under the directions of SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir. Final matches of Kabaddi, and Volley Ball were witnessed by the huge gathering from Assar, Bhaggar areas at Govt. High School Bhaggar. In this tournament total 10 teams from different Schools of Block Assar and adjoining areas were participated.
The Final match of the Kabaddi was played between the teams of Govt. High School Jathi and Govt. Hr. Sec. School Assar which was won by Govt. Hr. Sec. School Assar. Similarly, Volley Ball Final match was played between Govt. High School Jathi and Govt. Hr. Sec. School Assar which was won by Govt. Hr. Sec. School Assar. The Uniforms kits, Trophies, Medals and Cash prizes were distributed among the winner/runners-up of the teams by Dy.SP DAR Doda Mansoor Ayaz under the supervision of SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
On the occasion, Dy.SP DAR Doda Mansoor Ayaz stressed upon the participants to take part in sports activities with full enthusiasm. Sports activities keep them physically and mentally fit to achieve desirous progressive goals. Besides, it also keep them away from drug abuse and others social evils.(KNO)
